Metals and Ores
Every gate is built from two metals: naquadah and titanium. Two rarer ones come later, for rarer crystals.
What you need them for
- Naquadah is the heart of every gate: its plating, its circuits, its control crystals and the fuel of its generators. You will need a lot of it.
- Titanium is Earth's structural metal. It holds the plating together and goes into generators, fuel cells and Ancient tools.
- Trinium goes into the Range Crystal.
- Naquadria goes into the Intergalactic Crystal.
Where to dig

| Titanium | Thin but almost everywhere, from a little below the grass down into the deepslate. The seams worth following run under beaches and river banks, a short dig beneath the water line. | Blast Furnace only |

| Naquadria | Deeper than anything else worth digging, near the floor of the world, and only a vein here and there. | Blast Furnace only |
Nine raw pieces pack into a raw block, and a raw block unpacks into nine again.
